DXB - DUBAI OFFSHORE SAILING CLUB MEMBERSHIP
Effective 26-07-10: We have taken out a corporate membership at the DOSC. You will need your BAFSRC card and your BA ID in order to gain access and these have to be shown at the security gate.
We do not have any boats at the club, but you can go along and hire boats to sail and you can also learn to sail. There is a cost involved in this, and the FSRC will NOT pay these charges.
There is no restrictions on the numbers going., but you have to be a proficient sailor to be able to hire a boat, and will have to be checked out by an instructor before you can take out a boat. Lockers are available.

ORD - CHANGE TO BIKE RENTAL DEAL - VERY IMPORTANT
12-07-10: The original bike hire deal we set up with Biek and Roll has proved too difficult for the bike shop to implement, so we have had to change the plan.
We have now bought 200 bike hire vouchers which will be stored at the hotel, and are only available on production of the FSRC card and BA ID card together. One voucher will give you 4 hours rental, 2 vouchers will give you a whole day’s rental, and there is a maximum of 2 vouchers per day per member. The vouchers can be used for hybrid and road racing bikes. The vouchers will NOT be available until
For the remainder of the week where there are no vouchers available, we will refund the costs of rental up to the value of the amount we would pay for a voucher. So for a half day rental we will refund $10 and $20 for a full day’s rental. Please keep receipt and send to BA FSRC, 204, The Street,

OSL- GYM VOUCHERS BOUGHT FOR SATS GYM
01-07-10:- The FSRC has managed at last to secure a deal with the SATS gym, which has allowed us to buy discounted gym vouchers which will give the members free access to the gym. The vouchers are held at the hotel reception, and will only be released upon production of the BAFSRC card and BA ID together. See Oslo web page for details.

LAX- REDONDO - 4 HYBRID BIKES ORDERED
Another 4 hybrid bikes have been ordered, these will be in the hotel by the end of the month, we will ahve then bought 8 new bikes in the last 2 months. We will replace the older ones as required.
Some of the older bikes don't look very pretty, but they are sound and useable and safe and so will only be replaced when it becomes necessary for safety or economic reasons as opposed to asthetic reasons.
