Dave Self an ex BA crew and BA FSRC Committee member, now runs a weekly Jazz Show on the web.The show is called The Sounds of Jazz and currently goes out live Thursdays 1 to 2 pm and is repeated at the moment Fridays 8 to 9 pm but is due to be re scheduled to Sunday evenings soon

The station is a student station in Reading and also goes out locally on 1386 on the am band just to the town on low power. The show is called "The Sounds of Jazz" just google Blast 1386 and then listen live

Can any Jazz lovers let me know any good Jazz venues around the network, if they are warm to BA crews. I need their details, ie location, email and tel details and if they won't mind me having their details kept or mentioned on air... sometimes people are sensitive to certain information being broadcast.....also if they will offer some kind of inducement ie discount to crews.... Also any live music venues that might be appropriate for the crews

In the past we have had families on holiday taking out bikes, and leaving nothing for the paying member on duty.
