How do I get a replacement membership card?
Please e-mail us through the link on this site or at bafsrc@aol.com and request a new card. Please include your name and staff number, and your home addresss, so we can post the card directly to you. We are unable to drop file any cards, and do not have access to your personal details.
I am going on maternity leave, how do I defer my payments whilst I am off work?
BA will deduct £2 per month whilst you are on high rate maternity benefit, so the best option is to cancel your membership completely and reapply when you return to work.
Please post your membership card to 204, the Street, West Horsley, Leatherhead, Surrey KT24 6HS.
The Pay Roll closes to us on about the 11th of each month, so the card would need to be with us by the 10th in order for it to be cancelled the same month. Any card arriving after the 10th will be cancelled the following month.
To re apply please use the application form on this site.
I did some work or repairs downroute to the FSRC equipment, how can I claim the money back?

I believe I can claim back £15 towards the cost of skiing or so other activities, is this correct?
The FSRC will pay £15 towards the cost of one activity, this is only 1 claim per annum per member, so if you claim for skiing for example you would not be able to claim for sailing. The activities that are covered are as follows:-
Skiing
Boating in Europe
White water rafting
Green fees in ABZ
Green fees in CCU
If there are only 2 bikes in the hotel in Europe you can claim for bike hire, if there are 3 you cannot.
Windsurfing
Scuba diving
Please send your receipt to us at 204, The Street, West Horsley, Leatherhead, Surrey, along with your name, staff number, trip details and bank account details and we will reimburse you the £15. If you prefer a cheque please provide us with your home address.
I have heard FSRC members can join the BA lottery, is this correct?
The BA FSRC has become affiliated to BA CLUBS, this allows FSRC members to join BA CLUBS lottery without having to be a member of the BA CLUBS.The number for the lottery is 020 8513 2524 and their website is www.baclubs.com. There is a link on everypage of our website.
20% of all lottery money raised is distributed between affiliated clubs, pro rata to the number of members who have joined from that club, so if FSRC members join, we raise a few more pounds for the club
If you fill in the Application with the link, please fill in the Blue Form Current BA Employees, and then where it says Club Number- just write BAFSRC
I want to cancel my membership, how do I do this?
If you wish to cancel your membership with us, you will need to return your membership card. The Payroll closes to us around 11th of each month, so the card would need to be with us by that date in order for it to be cancelled for that month, any cards arriving after 10th will be cancelled the following month. The card should be sent to BAFSRC, 204, The Street, West Horsley, Leatherhead, Surrey KT24 6HS.
I want to use one of the Brompton Folding biks at LGW or LHR, how do I arrange this?
2 Brompton Folding Bikes painted in BA colours have been purchased and are kept in the cages in the storeroom at T5 and the luggage room at LGW.
These will be rented out to FSRC members to take to places where it is impossible to store bikes. i.e Singapore.
Paul Hudspith will be the main contact to book a bike to take away please download a form from www.batbc.com from left hand side of page or contact him at 07850 664467 or email: fsrcbrompton@gmail.com
Once a booking is made you will be given a code to access the cage to collect the bike and carrying bag
The bike must be returned and put back in the cage and any problems or faults must be reported to Paul so he can rectify the situation before the bike is lent out again
Having a controlled system will enable the committee to look at how popular they are and see whether they work within the club and their use expanded to places where storage for bikes is difficult or impossible
